Conservative Dr. James Dobson-Matt Bevin for Governor

James C. Dobson Endorses Matt Bevin for Governor

Dear Friends,

It is my pleasure to be among the many solid conservatives who are supporting Matt Bevin for Governor of Kentucky.

A government of and by and for the people is both a great privilege and a great responsibility. The uniqueness and greatness of America is predicated on our willingness to take this responsibility to heart and protect it.

The task of preserving this noble experiment that our founding fathers put forward has fallen to each successive generation. The tapestry of American exceptionalism is comprised of many threads. In recent years, we have seen the recent tapestry pulled apart a thread at a time. In recent months, however, the threads have seemingly been removed a fistful at a time and the core Judeo-Christian values which our nation was founded are under assault from all corners.

Now, more than ever, we need to elect men and women who are principled and bold. Men and women who will defend the Constitution and put public interest above their own. Men and women who understand and are unapologetic about the very Christian values that have made our nation a beacon to the world. Men and women who will fight to defend the sanctity of life and the integrity of the family.

This is why I am pleased to lend my support to such an individual in the Kentucky Governor’s race. Matt Bevin is a man who was raised in a financially humble home, but has lived the American Dream. He is a U.S. Army veteran, a father of nine children including four who are adopted and a small business owner. He embodies the core values and principles that have made America the greatest nation on earth.

Please join me in lending your vote and your proactive support to elect Matt Bevin as the next Governor of Kentucky on November 3rd, 2015.

Writing as a private individual and not on the behalf of the organization I represent, I am pleased to endorse Matt Bevin’s candidacy for Governor of Kentucky.

Yours truly,

James C. Dobson, Ph.D
